Brooklyn, N.Y. 鈥 August 15, 2014 鈥 The 老司机福利网鈥檚 Prospect Park Zoo is offering ongoing family-friendly activities throughout the summer.

鈥淚nside Scoop Mondays鈥 include presentations by zoo educators about animals in the zoo. Each week features different animals.
(Mondays, 12 to 3 p.m.)

鈥淪torytelling Tuesdays鈥 feature animal stories and puppet fun in the Amazing Animals building.
(Tuesdays, 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 2 to 4 p.m.)

鈥淲ild Art Wednesdays鈥 include animal-themed crafts.
(Wednesdays, 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 2 to 4 p.m.)

鈥淕ames on Thursdays鈥 feature animal-themed games, scavenger hunts, and more.
(Thursdays, 11:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 to 4 p.m.)

鈥淎nimal Enrichment Fridays鈥 offer presentations by the zoo鈥檚 Discovery Guides who discuss enrichment programs that keep the animals physically and mentally active and healthy. Each week focuses on different areas of the zoo.
(Fridays, 12 and 3 p.m.)

鈥淗ighlight Tours鈥 are available on weekends. These tours highlight select areas of the zoo starting at 1:30 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday. Volunteer educators are on hand for 鈥淢eet a Docent鈥 chats every Saturday and Sunday at 12:30 and 2:30 p.m.

The 老司机福利网鈥檚 Prospect Park Zoo 鈥 $8 for adults, $6 for seniors 65 and older, $5 for kids 3-12, free for children under 3. Zoo hours are 10 A.M. to 5 P.M. weekdays, and to 5:30 P.M. on weekends and holidays, April through October. 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. November through March.
