Undergraduates
In February, the Registrar will message all those who completed their degrees in December and those who are on track to be eligible for degree completion in Spring and Summer. If you do not receive this message, please email registrar@pacific.edu.
You can review and submit your application for graduation through MyPacific. If you would like to make a change to your graduation information (date, term, name or diploma address), please contact the Office of the Registrar directly.
Graduate students
Graduate students will register for Commencement when they complete their . If you have questions about applying for your degree, please contact the Registrar鈥檚 office at registrar@pacific.edu.

Commencement regalia and more
Caps and Gowns
Wearing a university-approved cap and gown is a requirement for participating in the Commencement and Diploma and Hooding ceremonies.
Hoods are not required for the All-University Commencement and Degree Conferral ceremony, but all graduates鈥擝achelors, Masters and Doctorate鈥攁re required to have a hood at their Diploma and Hooding ceremonies.
Regalia will be available for purchase online from Herff Jones or at the Commencement Grad Fair in Stockton. During the purchase process, you will select your degree earned and the correct tassel and hood will be included in your regalia package.
Grad Fairs
- Virtual: The virtual Grad Fair will take place on February 17 at 6 p.m.
- Stockton Campus: The Grad Fair will take place Feb. 18 from noon to 6 p.m. in the Stockton Campus Bookstore.
Important Herff Jones Dates
Important dates for the following milestones related to purchasing your regalia will be provided after confirmation by Herff Jones:
- Deadline to pre-order for bookstore pick-up
- Deadline to order ship to home (+$14.90 shipping)
- Pre-ordered cap and gown distribution begins
- Non-pre-ordered cap and gown purchasing begins
Honor Cords
Departments and programs may provide additional recognition to graduates by distributing honor cords. To learn if your department provides honor cords, please contact the department chair or your professor.
Latin Honors
Graduates receiving a bachelor鈥檚 degree who have confirmed eligibility for these honors at time of printing will be designated in the Commencement program.
These honors are contingent upon final grade point average calculations at the completion of all relevant degree requirements. The official list of graduates and honors awarded is maintained by the university registrar.

Leis and Bouquets
The Commencement Group will sell flower arrangements during the May 9 and May 10 ceremonies. Bouquets and leis can also be .
Diplomas
The Registrar鈥檚 Office mails diplomas to the address filed with your application to graduate after students are approved to graduate, approximately 12 to 16 weeks after the term ends. If your address changes, it is your responsibility to inform the Office of the Registrar at 209.946.2135 or registrar@pacific.edu.
