ÀÏ˾»ú¸£ÀûÍø’s School of Education is pleased to announce three job opportunities. Please share with your colleagues, friends and family members who may be interested.
Faculty in the School of Education at ÀÏ˾»ú¸£ÀûÍø are seeking a colleague
to join a core of faculty members focused on the B.A. in education program. Our faculty
work with pre-service teachers in various subject areas who will ultimately educate
students from early childhood to the secondary level. The successful candidate will
have an opportunity to work with colleagues to implement a redesigned curriculum.
The faculty are in the middle of a multi-year process of redesigning our undergraduate
curriculum to focus on graduating equity-minded teachers certified in special education
(grades K-12). This new curriculum will begin implementation by fall 2022.
The deadline to apply for the position has been extended from March 1, 2022 to March
31, 2022. The position will remain open until filled.
The assistant professor in educational leadership will join a vibrant group of faculty
members who currently work with and train school leaders and educators – in public
and Catholic schools – across the state of Missouri and beyond. While the position
is primarily focused on teaching, the new assistant professor will engage in service
to the University and community and will be provided the opportunity to conduct educational
research.
Review of applications begins March 31, 2022. The position will remain open until
filled.
Financial Coordinator
The financial coordinator is an early career position that offers the opportunity
to gain a variety of experiences and learn the inner workings of a university. This
is a great opportunity to serve as financial coordinator for the exciting work going
on with our faculty, students and staff. SLU offers a great benefits package, including
tuition remission for a master's degree. The financial coordinator will support the
leadership in the School of Education Office of the Dean in four key areas. These
include budget management and monitoring; human resource management, including the
necessary documentation for the hiring of faculty, staff and adjuncts; supporting
faculty travel, including travel arrangements, reimbursement and expense reports;
and managing the contracts in the School of Education.
Review of applications begins on March 16, 2022. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
