Professor Jamille Fields Allsbrook was named a senior fellow for health justice at the National Partnership for Women & Families (NPWF). In her role, Fields Allsbrook will collaborate with NPWF on research and making policy recommendations to the federal government, Congress, and private industry.
The National Partnership for Women & Families is a national nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that works to make life better for women and families. Their vision is a just and equitable society in which all women and families can live with dignity, respect and security; every person has the opportunity to achieve their potential; and no person is held back.
Fields Allsbrook (‘13) who joined the SLU LAW faculty in fall 2023 as a member of the Center for Health Law Studies, focuses her research and scholarship on advancing gender and racial health equity. Prior to teaching, Fields Allsbrook had an impressive career in policy research and advising, most recently serving as a senior policy advisor in the Office of Population Affairs in the Department of Health and Human Services.
