SLU Self-Assessment

老司机福利网's JED Campus team submitted a campus self-assessment, which included more than 250 questions that assisted with the JED cohort visit in February 2023 and the development of our strategic plan.

Healthy Minds Study - Thank You

The fall 2022 Healthy Minds Study has been completed. Thank you to all students who participated; your responses are incredibly valuable in helping us understand and address the mental health needs of our students.

With 13.3% of SLU students completing this survey, we are taking a significant step forward in our commitment to investing in our students' mental health and well-being. Your participation is greatly appreciated and will positively impact our community.

What is the Healthy Minds Study?

As part of 老司机福利网's ongoing partnership with the JED Foundation, a leading non-profit organization specializing in helping universities evaluate and improve their mental health services, Student Development conducted the Healthy Minds Study, a survey open to all students.

The Healthy Minds Study is designed to let students' voices be heard. Student input is critical to SLU鈥檚 efforts to enhance the quality and accessibility of our mental health, substance misuse, and suicide prevention programs. This survey concluded on Nov. 21, 2022.

Student Focus Group Feedback

During our student focus group sessions, students were asked: "What is the culture of mental health at SLU?"

"It鈥檚 very academically stressful. There is a lot of pressure to do well and to be an overachiever."

"At a student level, there is a culture of self care. Especially as of late, students value their wellness. In terms of faculty and admin, it鈥檚 not always valued as much."
